Crystal Cove Alliance is going “Back to the Beach” for its 12th Annual Gala, presented by The Resort at Pelican Hill.

At the annual soiree, to be held Saturday, Sept. 27, at 5:30 p.m. at Crystal Cove, supporters will celebrate the organization’s outstanding work in preserving the cultural, natural and historic resources of Crystal Cove State Park.

For the last four years, the CCA gala was tented and held on the Crystal Cove blufftop. Each event has been a sold-out success, but this year is especially significant as it marks the first return to the beach, adjacent to the intricately restored cottages of the Historic District, since 2010.

Attendees will mingle on the beach, enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres by Montage Laguna Beach, and indulge in an al fresco three-course gourmet dinner prepared by Executive Chef Jean-Pierre Dubray of The Resort at Pelican Hill.

Guests will be tempted by a silent and live auction, as well as an opportunity drawing for a three-night stay in Crystal Cove Cottage #14 “South Beach Suite” – one of the most popular restored oceanfront cottages.

“This annual gala is a critical fundraising event for our organization and is essential to Crystal Cove Alliance’s ability to sustain our restoration and educational efforts,” said Laura Davick, CCA founder and director of external affairs

Located between Laguna Beach and Newport Beach, Crystal Cove encompasses 3.2 miles of coastline, 2,400 acres of backcountry and 1,100 acres of underwater park. CCA, in partnership with Crystal Cove State Park, preserves the natural resources, culture and history of the cove. In addition to restoring and managing the cottages, CCA educates more than 35,000 children through its ocean and land-based environmental programs.

Individual gala tickets are $375. Sponsorship opportunities range from $4,000 to $50,000. Opportunity drawing tickets are $100 each or seven for $500. To purchase gala tickets, donate a silent auction item or purchase opportunity drawing tickets, visit crystalcovealliance.org/gala or call (949) 376-6200 ext. 201.
