Lobdell to take a reduced role with Daily Voice

DateThursday, February 4, 2010 at 8:49AM

William Lobdell, co-founding publisher of the Newport-Mesa Daily Voice, has been named editor of iBusiness Reporting, a website that does investigative stories on public companies, and will take a reduced role with the Voice. You can read the announcement here.

"This was an opportunity too interesting to pass up," Lobdell said. "I love the Daily Voice, will continue to write columns and stories for it, and will generally do anything I can to support the effort. I think its success is critical to the future of Newport-Mesa."

Tom Johnson remains as publisher of the Daily Voice.
