On September 16, the generosity and compassion of a group of more than 150 remarkable women will be center stage at the Lido Isle bayfront home of Dali Despotovic and Bob Olson when the annual Rosé on the Bay fundraiser returns in support of KidWorks, a local nonprofit that helps children, youth and families living in overlooked neighborhoods in central Santa Ana.

The evening will be filled with food, wine and inspiration, along with live music and opportunity prizes. The fundraising goal is $75,000. All funds raised will directly benefit hundreds of KidWorks students as they continue on their journey toward college and career success.

KidWorks goes the extra mile for the community, creating an environment where youth can unleash their potential through mentorship and leadership development resources for the entire family. Its diverse programs, coupled with intentional guidance, fuel internal growth and set KidWorks students up for a meaningful and fulfilling future and career.

The Rosé on the Bay event committee includes Newport Beach residents Sue Willett, committee chair, plus Anne Clemens, Michelle Dillon, Mari Frome, Dawn Hewitt, Jennifer J. Martin, Heidi Mendoza, Cathy Newton, Susan Sanders, Pam Shean, Kyle Team, Pam Terry, Ellen Wheeler, Annie Willett, and Costa Mesa resident Christy Mason.

Since 1993, KidWorks has helped children, youth and families living in overlooked neighborhoods in central Santa Ana. As a faith-driven 501(C)(3) nonprofit, KidWorks makes an 18-year commitment to students, pledging to walk with them from “Pre-K through B.A.” as the organization works to unleash their potential. The mission: to inspire purpose in youth, fuel their growth, and catalyze their impact in the community and the world.
