The Orange County Chapter of Childhelp and Eurocar presented the 4th Annual Eurocar Charitable Fundraiser, an “Evening of Cars and Local Stars” at the swank Eurocar Showroom.

Eurocar owners Tilo & Paula Steurer hosted the event in their showroom to assist Childhelp reach its goal of making the lives of abused and neglected children a little brighter.  Newport resident Pam Pharris, president of The Orange County Chapter of Childhelp was on hand to answer any questions about Childhelp along with Patti Edwards who is on the Childhelp California State Board.  It was a fun evening of admiring all of the spectacular cars along with great music and wonderful drinks and appetizers.

A requirement for entry for the 400 guests who attended was to bring a gift for a child.  More than 500 gifts and store gift cards were gathered for the children in Childhelp’s care. These were distributed to the local group homes in Costa Mesa and the Village in Beaumont, making for a very merry Christmas for the children.

Featured at the event were trunk shows by Winston Jewelers & Leisure Society along with a silent auction, which raised $10,000 for Childhelp.

Childhelp has brought the light of hope and healing into the lives of countless children who are at risk or have been victims of abuse and neglect. Childhelp’s approach focuses on advocacy, prevention, treatment and community outreach.  For more information, visit childhelp.org.
