The Newport Beach Film Festival is seeking enthusiastic film lovers to volunteer for this year’s event.
The Festival will from Thursday, April 28 through Thursday, May 5, and will spotlight more than 350 films from around the world, offering an ambitious and international selection of features, shorts, documentaries and animation.
Volunteers will have the opportunity to fill many fun positions at the festival, including guest relations, merchandise sales, theater ushering, office reception, and gala and special events staffing. Three- to four-hour shifts are available in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. College students and seniors are welcome.
Prior to the Festival, volunteers must attend at least one orientation session. The session will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall at these times:
Monday, March 21, 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m.
Thursday, March 24, 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m.
Saturday, March 26, 10:30 a.m.- noon.
Monday, March 28, 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m.
Thursday, March 31, 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 2, 10:30 a.m. – noon.
