Newport Beach firefighters strutted their stuff on the catwalk for charity Saturday at Bloomingdale’s, Fashion Island.

“Hot guys, hot fashion, what more could you ask for?” Kim Van Natta, general manager of Fashion Island Bloomingdale’s, asked the crowd.

The firefighters, and a few of their family members, walked the runway in support of CHOC Children’s Glass Slipper Guild. The Newport Beach Fire Department and Bloomingdale’s donated $2,500 to the organization, which encourages community support and interest in the work of CHOC Children’s and assists the hospital through contributions of service and fundraising. The store also donated 10 percent of the day’s sales to the organization.
