Iowa Wins Holiday Bowl, Kicker is Newport Native

Locals were cheering as University of Southern California played in the Holiday Bowl over the weekend. The Iowa Hawkeyes beat the Trojans, 49–24, in Friday’s football game.
Local residents aren’t just fans, Newport Beach native Chase McGrath is a kicker on the team. The Mater Dei alum graduated high school in 2016.
