A few weeks back, we ran a list of restaurants that sadly are no longer in business, but live on in our memories as local landmarks of years gone by.

This week, inspired by Chris’s and Stasha’s visit to The Galley (see page 13), we’re taking a more positive track: old-time restaurants that are still around. Thus, here are some of the venerable old masters of the Newport Beach dining scene, as compiled by the Newport Beach Indy staff.

If we missed any of your favorites, let us know at [email protected] or visit us online at www.newportbeachindy.com and leave us a comment.

Bon appétit!
