Committed to redefining the delivery of spine care, DISC Sports & Spine Center has created a new division within its existing Orange County practice called the Newport Beach Spine Group, which taps the expertise of seven leading spine specialists united by their common goal of furthering minimally invasive techniques.
DISC opened its Newport Beach location in 2012 with the goal of expanding on the work that founding neurosurgeon Dr. Robert S. Bray, Jr. Began in Los Angeles. The new group furthers that effort and establishes one of the largest non-hospital based neurological and orthopedic spine practices in the region.
The Newport Beach Spine Group will be co-directed by Dr. Bray and Dr. Richard Kim. Joining them are board certified surgeons, Dr. Sanjay Khurana, Dr. Hooman Melamed, Dr. Hamid Mir, Dr. John J. Regan, and Dr. Amir Vokshoor, with additional doctors specializing in pain management, brain surgery, PM&R and chiropractic care.
“The Newport Beach Spine Group will draw on a collective expertise to deliver patients focused, personalized care with minimal risk and excellent long-term outcomes,” said Dr. Bray in making the announcement. “Many thousands of patients have relied on these physicians to overcome pain and injury and achieve lasting relief.
