For the 40th year in a row, Newport kids can enjoy autumn activities and pick a pumpkin from the patch at a local nature center this weekend.

The Environmental Nature Center’s 40th Annual Fall Faire and Pumpkin Patch will be held Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at their facility at 1601 E. 16th St.

The ENC tradition will feature pumpkins of all shapes and sizes available for sale, photo opportunities in the pumpkin patch, food and drinks for purchase at the ENC Taste of OC, native plants available to buy and more.

Entertainment will include music by Keith Serpa and Laguna Beach DJs, a performance on the Fire Circle Stage, a Wolf Presentation by Wolf Totem Ambassadors, a Live Bird of Prey presentation by the OC Bird of Prey Center, and an Eco-Fashion show by Saddleback College.

Children can participate in a variety of crafts, get their faces painted, play games, ride a pony and pet other barnyard animals, and see creatures from OC Reptile Rescue.

Proceeds benefit ENC environmental education programs.

No reservations necessary.
