junior-league-christmas-companyThe Junior League of Orange County, based in Newport Beach, is holding its 41st Annual The Christmas Company at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa on Nov. 18 and 19.

This year’s theme, “A Holiday Toast to Old Traditions, New Directions and Giving Back,” will set the tone for the shopping extravaganza that offers the opportunity to kick-start holiday planning and gift purchasing by bringing together scores of unique vendors from Orange County and across the United States.

The event gets underway Friday at 8 a.m. with a preferred shopping breakfast, followed by boutique shopping, demos and presentations. The Casino Cocktail Night is 6 to 9 p.m.

Shopping hours on Saturday are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and include a Fancy Tea Party at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., a visit from Santa noon to 4 p.m., and Girl’s night Out from 5 to 7 p.m.

As the primary fundraiser for the organization, the money raised will benefit those most in need in Orange County.

It is through the participation of the community and partnership of sponsors and contributors that JLOCC is able to develop and support programs that have a lasting impact in Orange County.

The organization’s community partners include Blind Children’s Learning Center, Grandma’s House of Hope, Samueli Academy, Human Trafficking Task Force, and Orangewood Foundation.

This year, Newport Lexus and Tustin Lexus are JLOCC Elite sponsors.
