The Space Shuttle Endeavor, riding atop a modified 747 aircraft, arrived yesterday for permanent display in Los Angeles. Before landing in LA, the craft was flown around Southern California as hundreds of thousands on the ground took a few minutes from their day to watch it fly over and greet it on its arrival.
