Southern California Hospice Foundation is holding its annual Golf Tournament (“Life, Links, Love: Swinging for Charity”) Thursday, May 15 at Pelican Hill Golf Club.
Each year supporters gather on the golf course to celebrate life and raise funds through the generous donations of those who share the belief that life is worth enjoying for as long as each of us are living.
The golf tournament is a place where participants and their companies can become active members of the SCHF family as they offer a forum to mingle with individuals of common background who share the belief that hospice is a vital and indispensable service for our community.
You can participate as an individual player, sponsor, or both. You will enjoy breathtaking ocean views from every hole, offering a unique golf experience you will not soon forget. The Southern California Hospice Foundation was established in 2002 with a vision: to open a Hospice House in Southern California that serves as a live-in facility for end-of-life care. Until that dream is realized, donations enable them o care for patients in two simple ways: by educating the community about what hospice is through events, seminars, printed materials and community involvement, and by granting special requests through the Angel Assistance program. Sometimes, these requests are as simple as paying an electric bill. Sometimes, they are as complex as arranging for a child to meet their hero before they die. All are equally important, and all speak to the compassion and dignity provided to each patient.
