A few months ago I wrote a letter outlining the positive qualities that we should be seeking in our public officials: that they exhibit good leadership skills, experience, impartiality, humility, ethical behavior and independence.
Jeff Herdman is beholden only to the residents of Newport Beach. It is not often that we get the opportunity to vote for someone of his quality. I hope that the residents of Newport Beach take advantage of this opportunity and vote for Herdman for Newport Beach City Council.
