An arrest was made in the first block of Seascape Dr., at 1:26 a.m. on Thursday following a report of a disturbance.

An arrest was made after police responded to a call about a possible fight in the 1500 block of Avocado Ave., at 9:27 p.m. on Tuesday. Officers located a lone 42-year old Costa Mesa man. Although he had visible minor injuries to his face, he maintained that “nothing had happened to him, he did not want medical attention, and he just wanted to go home,” police reported. Witnesses stated that he had been drinking and causing a disturbance by yelling at passersby before police arrived at the scene. Officers determined that he was intoxicated and unable to care for his own safety, so he was taken into custody for public drunkenness.

A Newport Beach woman was arrested at Via Lido Soud and Via Genoa at 4:46 p.m. Tuesday for driving while under the influence of drugs. She was arrested after the reporting party called it in and followed the suspect. Police located her parked in the 3300 block of Newport Blvd. and found her to be under the influence of prescription medication.

An arrest was made at San Miguel Drive and MacArthur Boulevard at 12:09 a.m. Tuesday after someone called in a suspicious occupied vehicle.

A 41-year-old Santa Monica man was arrested in the 600 block of Newport Center Dr., at 5:48 p.m. on Monday for commercial burglary. The suspect used a false ID and credit card to obtain a store credit card fraudulently and then purchase an item. He was detained by store loss-prevention personnel before police arrived and arrested him.

A 19-year-old Camp Pendleton man was arrested in the 4600 block of MacArthur Blvd., at 1:13 a.m. Sunday for assault with a deadly weapon and false impersonation. Police responded to a call about a possible assault with a deadly weapon and determined that the suspect had been involved in several altercations and – in one case – threw a glass bottle at another person. He was also in possession of another individual’s ID, and claimed to be that person. Once officers were able to establish his true identity, he was arrested.
